Nollywood star, Ayoola Ayolola, has broken his silence and contradicted the producers of The Men’s Club who accused him of leaving the country without telling them.
The Men’s Club, also known as TMC is a story of love, friendship, and betrayal, which revolves around four male characters and their partners.
Ayoola played one of the main characters, Aminu Garba, but he was recently replaced with BBNaija star, Pere Egbi, by the TMC team.

The series director, Tolu Odunsi, through an Instagram post, announced the change saying: “Ayoola is unavailable indefinitely to physically record with his co-TMC cast at location”
This was followed by another post by the
Dami Elebe, the Series Script Writer who accused the Nollywood actor of relocating without informing the TCM production team.
In Ebele’s words: “But it isn’t our fault. It’s not our fault that the actor relocated – without telling us if I may add – and I don’t want the people – including me – who are working hard to give an amazing show be made to feel bad by the fans we absolutely love and are doing our best for,”
Contrary to what the Ebele said, Ayoola Ayolola on Tuesday, released a statement on his verified Instagram page, denying the accusation of going AWOL by the scriptwriter.
He also appreciated and thanked his fans for their support, and added that he will be returning to the country and the screen soon.
“Hi everyone. Thank you for all the love and support. I appreciate you!
“I remain grateful to have been part of such an amazing show and I did not take any action to jeopardize its success.
“Contrary to what was said, I did not relocate without letting the executive producers and producers of the show know.
“My decision to make a ‘temporary’ move out of the country was a long thought out process in which the producer/my manager at the time was aware of and involved in.
“With that being said, I cannot wait to be back on your screens again.” Ayoola said.
