Atiku group makes case for the less-privileged in Enugu

Stand For Hope and Love Initiative, a non-governmental organization inspired by the vision of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Governor Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, has advocated for special care for the less-privileged in the country.

The group made the appeal while donating items to Guardian Angels Motherless Babies home in Enugu yesterday.

Donating the items, the National Cordinator of the organization, Princess Ngozi Amos Ezenma, said that the gesture was part of efforts to put smile on the faces of the less-privileged children.

She said, “We are people of kindness and love. So we are always demonstrating great virtues to the less-privileged in the society.

“We also made the donation in appreciation to God for the victory of the People’s  Democratic Party presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at just concluded  primary election. We share the same vision and passion with these two amiable leaders with a large heart of meeting the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

“We are passionate about assisting the less-privileged children because we love children and we are always happy whenever we extend hand of love to children who are in need.

“These children are the future leaders of tomorrow hence the need to assist them so that they can be happy and live a fulfilled life.”

Receiving the items on behalf of the motherless babies home, the Assistant Matron, Sister Mary Gloria Ebeegbulem, thanked Stand For Hope and Love Initiative for the gesture, saying “if not for people like you that are always showing love to us, caring fo these children would have been difficult. We pray that God will continue to bless you all”.

Items donated are bags of rice, noodles, detergents, beverages, biscuits and fruit juice.
