President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the All progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo state to vote for the party’s candidate Rotimi Akeredolu on Saturday governorship election for deserving the mandate.
The president who virtually addressed APC mega rally in Akure on Wednesday assured voters of adequate security as he reiterated APC achievement in the state which he predicted on its candidate’s effort.
Buhari reminded the electorates to be mindful of voting right and protecting their votes so that the will of the people will not be compromised.
” I urge you to vote APC, give our candidate the mandate to return to office. He has achieved a lot and deserves to be reelected”.
Also addressing the APC Rally virtually, the vice president prof.Yemi Osibanjo reeled off various achievements of governor Akeredolu on road Infrastructure, academic instructions and deserves to be returned to office.
Other party bigwigs who also addressed the Mega are APC governors led by the chairman Nigeria governors forum Kayode John Fayemi of Ekiti state.
They said it’s end of discussion for the opposition and urged members of the party to vote massively for Akeredolu on Saturday.
The rally witnessed mammoth crowed with songs of anticipated victory for APC candidate.
The rally also brought members of other ethnic group together and wre addressed by their governors in their own language.
It would be recalled that APC governors fall short of showing same solidarity to it’s candidate Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the Edo Elections which drew criticism from party faithful as reasons behind their lose to PDP candidate Obaseki.
