Asake is known for using the slang ‘Otilo’ while speaking and singing, BNXN has, however, claimed he invented the lingo

Popular Afrobeats singer, Daniel Benson better known as BNXN has sent tongues wagging on social media, after claiming he invented ‘Otilo, a slang commonly used by his colleague, Ahmed Ololade a.k.a Asake.
The lingo ‘Otilo’ is commonly associated with current music sensation and signee of YBNL record label, Asake because he is fond of using it while singing or talking.
However, BNXN who is also known as Buju, recently took to social media to accuse some musicians of using the slang after he found it in 2021, even though they do not understand the meaning.

The ‘Kenlele’ crooner also claimed he and his team have been using another slang, ‘Ezz Going’ before other artistes jumped on it.
BNXN also noted these people asked for the meaning of the slang from him, only to begin using it without due acknowledgment.
In his words, “First they don’t understand it, then they copy it.
“When me and my people were saying “EZZ GOING” last year Nggas were like ?? now everybody saying ‘EZZ GOING’ / ‘OTILO’.
“Now, mo ti TRABOSKIIII!!”
After the now-viral post found its way to the internet, fans of Asake and other netizens who commented concluded that BNXN’s dig was aimed at Asake who is known to frequently use the slang.
