Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has said he is hoping his team’s seemingly easier run of fixtures in the English Premier League (EPL) will help reignite their title ambitions this season.
He made this known ahead of their league match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, where he also suggested that a shortening injury list will be an added advantage to his team.
The Gunners were expected to give league champions, Man City, a run of their money in the contest for the EPL trophy this season.
However, they found themselves in fourth position and nine points off the top of the table.
They have also failed to win their last four fixtures before the November international break.

Injuries to key players, such as captain Martin Odegaard and unwarranted red cards have hampered Arteta’s team in the early part of the campaign.
Arsenal have played tough away games against Tottenham, Newcastle United, Manchester City, and Chelsea in their first 11 games.
And Arteta while speaking at his pre-match conference was quick to point these out.
He said: “There is so much quality with a lot of teams but it is true that teams have had very different schedules and that is a very important thing.
“Teams have had various contexts and difficulties than others but after 18, 20, 25 games we will see where everybody is. Hopefully, we are going to be there.”
