Art teachers wanted for exhibition

In commemoration of the fourth edition of the UNESCO international art education week this year, Teaching Visual Art is calling for art works from Nigerian art teachers.

 

A statement from Teaching Visual Art said deadline for submission for the online exhibition is May 22.

“It is an online art exhibition for Nigerian art teachers to be part of the global celebration of the Arts Education Week and to further create awareness for art education and art appreciation with the theme, ‘Art Education for Sustainable Development’,” the statement explained.

 

Interested participants are to submit a digital image of art works (painting, sculpture, metal works, ceramics etc) to be sent via email with the following information: Art teacher’s name, name of school, title of work, media, contacts and a short description of the work.

 

Participation is free and art teachers can email their entries to teachingvisualart@gmail.com, whereas the exhibition will take place online from May 25 to 31.

 

All the participating art teachers will receive a copy of the exhibition sticker to be sent by post and shall be featured in the reports.
