Arsenal climbed into the Champions League places with an entertaining but narrow victory over relegation-threatened Watford in a game with five quality goals.
Martin Odegard gave Arsenal the lead as early as the 5th minute of the encounter after he was put through by academy graduate, Bukayo Saka.
Watford equalised 6 minutes later through Cucho Hernandez after he acrobatically put the ball beyond Aaron Ramsdale after a cross from Kiko Femenia.

Arsenal regained the lead in the 30th minute after Tom Cleverley was robbed of the ball and Bukayo Saka beautifully finished the resulting assist from his captain Alexandre Lacazette.
The visitors made it 3-1 after the break when Lacazette provided another through pass for Gabriel Martinelli, who finished it superbly.
The Hornets made it a nervy finale for Arsenal when Moussa Sissoko scored in the 87th minute to make it 3-2 but the Gunners held on to win.
With the win, the visitors leapfrog West Ham and Man United into the 4th position on the league table and have 2 games in hand.
Watford stays 19th and remains 3 points off safety with 11 games to save themselves from dropping into Championship next season.
