Arsenal on Sunday night moved from second spot to third on the Premier League table despite defeating Manchester United.
The North London club scored twice from corners to comfortably beat the Red Devils in a game played at the Emirates Stadium.
United frustrated the home side in a cagey first half before full-back, Jurin Timber broke the deadlock in the 54th minute from Declan Rice’s corner.
Ruben Amorim reacted by bringing on Rashford, Joshua Zirkzee and French teenage defender, Leny Yoro for his United debut.
However, it was Arsenal who doubled their advantage in the 73rd minute when Thomas Partey headed Bukayo Saka’s corner against William Saliba’s back and the ball went past Andre Onana in the United goal.

The win leaves Arsenal in third place behind Chelsea on goal difference and seven points adrift of leaders Liverpool, who were held to a 3-3 draw at Newcastle.
Speaking with BBC after masterminding Amorim’s first defeat in English football, Arteta said, “A special day, 500 games in this stadium. We scored two set pieces, but we could’ve scored from open play many more.
“We lost two massive players for us in our backline but the team are still responding.
“The game opened up a little bit and we looked a real threat. Very pleased. It’s a joy to play in this stadium with that energy, it’s something incredible.”
