The Arewa Youths Consultative Council (AYCC) has commiserated with the AYCC Sokoto, government and people of Sokoto State over the passing away of of Hajiya Aishatu Ahmadu Bello.
The group tweeted at the weekend described the death of Hajiya Aishatu Ahmadu Bello as an historic loss to the entire Northern Nigeria and all Nigerians.
It further stated: “Hajiya will be remembered for the legacies of her father, Sir. Ahmadu Bello Sardaunan Sokoto.
“She was a wife to the late Marafan Sokoto, Ahmad Danbaba and a mother to Alhaji Hassan Danbaba and a daughter to the the first and only Premier of Northern Nigeria from 1954 to 1966.
“May Allah grant her Jannah and continue to rest Sir. Ahmadu Bello in Jannah.”
