Apostle Suleman said Tambuwal withdrew and supported Atiku because Northerners are loyal to themselves unlike southerners
General Overseer of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has described southerners as noisemakers following the victory of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate.
Recall that Atiku won the PDP presidential primary election with 371 votes after a fellow northerner, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, stepped down for him the moment voting was about to commence. The deft move consolidated Atiku’s northern advantage over Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike who polled 237 votes.
Atiku was declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential primary after polling the highest votes.
Apostle Suleman said the emergence of Atiku as PDP’s presidential candidate following the withdrawal of a fellow aspirant, Aminu Tambuwal was an indication that the Southern part of the country are noisemakers.

He noted that the North would always hold onto power because the Southern part of the country are noisemakers.
Suleman said Tambuwal withdrew and supported Atiku because Northerners are loyal to themselves.
Addressing members of his church, Suleman said: “You saw what played out yesterday in Abuja? Why do you think the North has been in office and power for many years? Even if the North is not in office, the North will be in power.
“If they are not in power, they will be in office. This is because the Southern region, especially South-South, are noisemakers. The North will allow you to finish making your noise then they will shock you. Atiku knew the Southerners were noisemakers, and he worked on it.
“They are 100% loyal to themselves; that is why Tambuwal could take such a decision. All my Northern friends have not spoken ill of me, but the Southerners are the ones mocking me,” Duleman said.
