Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has been listed among the 124-member campaign council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Bayelsa State.

The Abdullahi Ganduje-led National Working Committee NWC listed Wike, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as part of the APC team to prosecute the November 11 governorship elections in Bayelsa.

Although Wike’s name was not in the 124-member list which TheNiche got from the APC, an APC source reliably informed the newspaper on Tuesday night that Wike’s name was smuggled in after it had been compiled.

The source claimed the insertion was the handiwork of Wike apologists bent on dragging him to the APC.

The NWC also listed chairmen for the three states that will be holding governorship election on November 11 – Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi, with their members.
