Lagos State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has started building bridges towards recovering the six local government areas it lost to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general election.
Speaking at an Igbo stakeholders’ summit in Isolo, Chief Henry Ajomale said it was painful that the party lost some elective positions to the PDP in the 2015 general election.
Ajomale, who was represented by Abiodun Salami, APC assistant state publicity secretary, said the most painful of the losses was in Isolo where the state chairman of the party comes from.
Okwara, who is the chairman of all the community development areas in Ago Palace Way, presented a charter of demand to the party.
The demands included development of infrastructure in the nook and crannies of Isolo Local Community Development Area (LCDA), allowing Igbo to be doing their legal businesses without harassment and intimidation as well as giving the Igbo and the other minorities sense of belonging in government.
