Aloy Ejimakor, lead Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has claimed that anyone blocking his client’s release from detention is profiting from the insecurity rocking the South East.

He made this known on Saturday through a post he shared on his official X page.

According to him, the release of the pro-Biafra agitator would end insecurity in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.

The lawyer further claimed that Kanu is etched in the “hearts and minds of legions”.

Speaking via his verified social media page, Ejimakor tweeted: “It may be hard to understand the mind of man but one thing that is certain is that MAZI NNAMDI KANU is etched in the hearts & minds of legions.

”You can bet that insecurity will come to a halt once #MNK is freed. Anyone blocking his release is profiting from the insecurity in SE.”

Nnamdi Kanu has been incarcerated since June 2021, when he was rearrested in Kenya and brought back to Nigeria by the Buhari led administration.

While in detention, insecurity in the South Eastern part of the country has risen to the highest point with killings and kidnappings being the order of the day.
