Anya-Ndi-Igbo called on Nigerians to ensure their votes count by protecting it during election, counting, and transmission.

Anya-Ndi-Igbo has urged Nigerians to vote candidates with verifiable integrity and competence at the governorship and state assemblies’ elections on March 11.
In a statement on Monday, the group, which earlier endorsed the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, thanked Nigerians for heeding its word to come out en masse and exercise their civic duties.
The statement said, “We at Anya Ndi Igbo wish to thank the Nigerian voters across board for heeding our call to vote the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi at the Presidential Election of 25th February 2023. You all came out patriotically to fulfil your civic duties against the so-called odds of INEC’s logistics and technical challenges.
“We appreciate your giving heed to our clarion call and hereby call on you, the great Nigerian voters, to do a repeat performance during the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly Elections taking place on Saturday 11th of March 2023. We insist that you cast your cherished votes for candidates who have verifiable integrity, competence, capacity and who are responsive to the common good, in order to usher in the change our youth are yearning for at the state level.

“Voters’ education was a major draw back during the Presidential elections, we therefore enjoin all intending voters, especially in the rural areas to better acquaint themselves with the logo of all the Political Parties, so as to vote appropriately for candidates that meet the criteria of integrity and compassion, according to their party logos.”
Anya-Ndi-Igbo called on Nigerians to ensure their votes count by protecting it during election, counting, and transmission.
“Finally, we call on all Nigerians to hold faith with the electoral process, to remain steadfast and law-abiding, vigilant and resolute during the elections; even as all aggrieved parties head to the law courts to get justice for electoral infractions against them and their parties.
“We urge that you cast your votes and watch over your votes. Remember: until your vote is cast, collated, counted and transmitted, it does not count,” it said.
