Brazilian forward, Antony, disobeyed instructions from Man United boss, Erik ten Hag during their 6-3 trashing by Manchester City on Sunday, TheNiche has learnt.
According to the UK Sun, Antony, who started on the right flank at the Etihad was supposed to help his teammate, Diogo Dalot, who was under the crush for most of the first half, but he failed to do so.
The Red Devils went on to concede four first-half goals and lost the Manchester derby 6-3 to their arch-rivals.
Man United showed signs of improvement in the second half, with the £85million summer signing, Antony, scoring from range, before his namesake, Anthony Martial came off the bench to score twice.

However, despite the spirited second-half performance and his goal, Antony faced criticism after the match, for his inability to help Diogo Dalot with defending the right side.
This is because Ten Hag has constantly reminded him about the need to defend and help the defence during training sessions.
The report claimed the Dutch tactician stressed the same point to Antony in the build-up to United’s game against City on Sunday, however, the 22-year-old failed to carry out his manager’s orders on the pitch.
