There was pandemonium on Wednesday at Ore town in Odigbo local government area of Ondo state when daredevil armed robbers attacked a bullion van in the town

No fewer than three persons including two Policemen and a civilian were killed during the attack as the armed robbers tried to hijack the bullion van while on the motion.

Attacking bullion van has now become a weekly affair in Ondo state as the Ore town incident was the second within two weeks that bullion vans would be attacked by suspected armed robbers in the state.

Eyewitnesses told TheNiche that the armed robbers opened fire on the bullion van and the escort van when they got to the Costain area, few kilometres from Ore town

It was gathered that the robbers might have got wind that the bullion van was conveying an undisclosed amount of money to Ore and had laid ambush for them

With the attack being the third within the space of six weeks, a total of three policemen had so far been killed.
