ANLCA describes western zone elections as none event

The National Executive Council (NECOM) of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has described as none event and illegal  the purported Western Zone elections that were held by a faction of the troubled association.

In a disclaimer notice signed by the National secretary of the association,  a copy of which was sent to thenicheng.com the association stated that the Chairman of the Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) remains Barr. Raymond Onyimba and not Chima Obi Best.

ANLCA  further alleged  that the purported  ASECO chairman is a defaulter and as such does not qualify for  to be chairman of the association electoral commission which it said rendered the  result the elections as illegitimate.

The disclaimer  reads “The National President Iju Tony Nwabunike has reacted to false publication signed by one Chima Obi Best claiming Chairmanship of ANLCA Association Electoral Commission (ASECO)
“For clarification, the Chairman of ANLCA ASECO remained Barr. Oyimba Raymond Enekwechi as ratified by National Executive Council (NEC)

“Consequently, Obi China Best been a member/Staff of North Atlantic Transit Limited, a defaulter Corporate Company with personal staff I.D. No. EZ1500000178 is NOT and does NOT qualifies even if any as a non-stakeholder nominal director without single share of his Corporate employer.

“The General Public and members of ANLCA are hereby enjoined to disregard such publication as expired Board of Trustee and non shareholder ordinary Corporate member does not perform ASECO Committee function in ANLCA”, the disclaimer concluded
