Anita Joseph says not all marriages are scam

Anita who celebrated her third wedding anniversary recently also said marriage is very sweet depending on one’s partner

Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph has insisted that contrary to the speculations that marriage is a “scam”, some unions are blissful and “sweet like sugar.”

She made the claim in a recent Instagram post, where she stated that marriage can be very enjoyable if one is with the right partner. 

Anita in the now-viral post, went on to advise men to accept responsibility and quit embarrassing their spouses in order to have a happy marriage. 

She also urged ladies to stay humble and be polite to their husbands.

She wrote: “When you marry a bombastic element you say marriage na scam. Marriages wey dey sweet like sugar. Union that God himself ordained.

“Women, be submissive, respectful but please, don’t take buckets of nonsense. Men take responsibility and stop embarrassing your wives…”

After her post surfaced on social media, netizens trooped to the comment section to lend their voices, with the majority saying husband and wife have a part to play in nurturing marriage.

An IG user, dr_chidominika saif: “I support her on this one Abeg! Not all marriages are scam! I choose to be positive”

Another internet year, grey_violets wrote: “Exactly, both parties have a quota to contribute”

margaretsundayey added: “Since Anita have problem with uche am Abit not happy.cos I always love how the comment on each other post.”

Another netizen, therealbigbaaaby said: “Just enjoy ur own, no come dey do like say na ur prayer answer pass”

While rikkyflefle wrote: “No lies.. it only takes two mature and responsible adults to make a marriage work… there’s no marriage without up and down (no shit o) how u handled it makes it more amazing ## choose ur partner wisely…”

Anita Joseph and her husband, Fisayo Michael Olagunju popularly known as MC Fish recently celebrated her third wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day.
