Youths of Akon-Itam community in Itu Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State staged a protest against the senator over the couple’s death.

One of the youths, Comrade Utibe Inyang, explained that the convoy rammed into the couple on a motorcycle while trying to navigate the busy highway.

He said what angered the youths mostly was the poor handling of the compensation package of a paltry N2 million which the senator gave to the family to quell the case.
