The Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC), played the 12th-man role as the Flying Eagles of Nigeria recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win against hosts Egypt in their second group game at the ongoing 2023 Africa Under 20 Cup of Nations.
The seven-time African Champions who lost 1-0 to Senegal in their first game, needed a victory to bounce back into the reckoning, though it didn’t come easy, the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club played a pivotal role as the Ladan Bosso boys garnered all maximum points.
Prior to the encounter, the National President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi had rallied support for the Flying Eagles.

Members of ANFASSC who travelled from Nigeria and those in Egypt however made their way to the Cairo International Stadium to support the Flying Eagles.
With a victory against the hosts, the ANFASSC Supremo, Prince Ogunjimi has now assured that his team will also be on the ground when the Flying Eagles take on Mozambique in their third group game.
