All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA), gubernatorial candidate for the November 6, Anambra governorship election, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has picked Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim as his running mate
Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim who hails from Mbaukwu in Awka South local government area of Anambra and is a medical doctor by profession.
He currently serves as Governor Willie Obiano’s Special Adviser on Indigenous Medicine and Herbal Practice.
He also doubles as the Managing Director of Anambra Oxygen Plant as well as the Executive Director of ANSACA, Anambra State Agency for Control of HIV/AIDS
Dr Ibezim also enjoys support from the APGA leadership and followership from vast majority of Ndi Anambra especially from the youths
His selection has received wide jubilations and acceptance by the people of Anambra State as deserving of the appointment
The Anambra governorship election is billed to hold on November 6, 2021 while electioneering campaign is expected to commence by August going by INEC timetable.
