Nigeria’s quest for her first medal ended on a disappointing note once again, when Tobi Amusan, finished 4th with a time of 12.60seconds in women’s 100 meters hurdles.

Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Porto Rico, who had earlier broken the Olympic record in her semi finals won the race with a time of 12.37 seconds.

American Harrison Keni, came second with a time of 12.52 seconds while Jamaican Tapper Megan, clinched the bronze medal after posting a time of 12.55 seconds.
