The announcement was made last Monday at the Nigerian Breweries Plc office which produces the low sugar drink.

Showtime brings together unique talents in dance, comedy, music and a host of others on one stage with the opportunity to showcase their distinct potentials to the world. It first premiered in 2012 and held in the four regions – in cities like Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin and Lagos.

The second edition will, however, hold in Lagos and Enugu, featuring five talents that will emerge from auditions from each region. The talents will then star alongside Sound Sultan, Phyno, Gordons, popular art director, Ice Nweke, and seasoned choreographer, Ukalina, to deliver an electrifying drama that talks about one’s journey to success. Participants will also receive cash prizes and wardrobe make-overs.

Showtime Enugu is to hold on August 29, at the Grand Royale Hall, while Showtime Lagos will hold on September 18 at University of Lagos (UNILAG) Sports Hall.

Actress and Amtel Malta ambassador, Genevieve Nnaji, said at the briefing that the second edition will be a memorable experience “and I really can’t wait to see how it unfolds because I’m very positive there are so many undiscovered talents out there”.
