An American student, Jack Sweeney
has dared Twitter owner, Elon Musk to carry out his threat of suing him after the billionaire accused him of stalking him.
According to the New York Post, Sweeney is currently talking to a few people about the potential lawsuit, saying he will be on the lookout for any letter from the billionaire’s lawyers.
The student went on to call Musk a hypocrite after his account was suspended, saying he is still processing his account suspension by Twitter.
He further insisted in another post that giving up on his suspended accounts will mean Musk had won.
It all started when the American businessman said he had taken legal steps against Sweeney whom he accused of tracking his private jet.

According to the Twitter CEO, he has embarked on legal action against the student whose Twitter account, @elonjet, was suspended on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
The account run by Sweeney had amassed over N500,000 followers before Twitter took it down on Wednesday for allegedly flouting the platform’s policies.
Sweeney had shared flight information about Musk’s jet on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
The account suspension comes after Elon Musk had vowed that he would not ban the account as a sign of his pledge to free speech.
“My commitment to free speech extends even to not banning the account following my plane, even though that is a direct personal safety risk” Musk tweeted.
The Tesla CEO via a series of tweets also alleged a car carrying his son, Lil X in Los Angeles was followed thinking it was him, saying the stalker climbed on the car’s hood.
He said, “Last night, car carrying Lil X in LA was followed by crazy stalker (thinking it was me), who later blocked car from moving & climbed onto hood.”
In addition to the legal action against Sweeney, Musk also said he would be suing organisations that supported harm against his family.
“Legal action is being taken against Sweeney & organizations who supported harm to my family,” he added.
Twitter also suspended Sweeney’s personal account and Musk justified the action saying that posting real-time information about another person’s location amounts to a violation of the microblogging platform’s policy.
