American rappers, Kodak Black, Lil Durk pay tribute to Mohbad

Kodak Black claimed he came across Mohbad’s social media page a few days before his death

American hip-hop stars, Bill Kahan Kapri better known as Kodak Black and Durk Derrick Banks aka Lil Durk have paid tribute to late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The singer passed away last week at the age of 27 and was buried the following day in Ikorodu, a local government in Lagos State.

His sudden death has since generated a lot of controversies as many Nigerians have pointed accusing fingers at a lot of people, while the police have commenced an investigation into the cause of his death.

Taking to his social media page to mourn the ‘Ask About Me’ crooner during an  Instagram live session with fans, Kodak Black said he came across Mohbad’s social media page a few days before his demise.

He said, “R.I.P to Mohbad. Kodak you were his neighborhood hero till his passing. Damn!

“What’s so crazy right now is I just ran across this n*gga’s page this week -few days ago-

“Sleep well wherever you are, man.”

Similarly, another rap artiste, Lil Durk paid his last respect to the late Nigerian singer via his Instagram page and X handle on Tuesday.

He tweeted, “RIP Mohbad aka Imole.”
