American rapper, Lil Durk wants to come to Nigeria soon

American rapper and songwriter, Durk Derrick Banks, better known as Lil Durk, has hinted that he is planning to come to Nigeria for a concert soon.  

He made this known during a question-and-answer session with fans on social media on Friday, May 26. 

During the chat on Twitter, Lil Durk said he intends to hold a massive concert in the west African nation and he is looking forward to meeting his fans in the country.

It all began when a curious fan asked him when he would be visiting Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and South Africa. 

The netizen also told the singer from Chicago, Illinois, that he has a massive fan base in Africa and that he has been his fan for 10 years. 

The fan wrote, “#AskLilDurk when will you come to Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, South Africa ..you’ll be so amazed to see you have loyal fans ..I’ve been a fan since 2013.”

Responding to the question, the 30-year-old singer said he hopes to perform in Nigeria soon.

He replied, “I wanna throw a big show in Nigeria #AskLilDurk.”

Lil Durk, who founded record label ‘Only the Family’ (OTF), has a cult-like followership among Nigerian youths, especially the Gen Zs.

His latest hit song ‘All My Life’ which featured J. Cole peaked at number one on Apple Music Nigeria barely 24 hours after it was released.
