Ex-minister, Amaechi, bags Master’s degree in Law from Kings College

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has earned a Master’s degree in international corporate and commercial law from Kings College, London.
TheNiche learnt on Wednesday from sources close to the former minister that he is due to be presented with the certificate on February 1, 2025.
Amaechi, a former governor of Rivers State, graduated from the Nigerian Law School after acquiring a degree in law from Baze University, Abuja in November 2022.
The ex-minister achieved the feats after his stint in former President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.
The law degree came 35 years after the politician earned his first degree in English Literature from the University of Port Harcourt.

Amaechi had his early education at St Theresa’s Primary School from 1970 to 1976. He earned his West African Senior School Certificate in 1982 after attending Government Secondary School Okolobiri.
Amaechi received a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours) in English Studies and Literature from the University of Port Harcourt in 1987, where he was the President of the National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS).
He completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps in 1988 and thereafter joined Pamo Clinics and Hospitals Limited owned by Peter Odili, where he worked until 1992.
