Amad Diallo during his loan spell at Rangers last season, helped the Glasgow club to reach the Europa League final and win the Scottish Cup

Manchester United has announced that winger, Amad Diallo, has left Old Trafford to join EFL Championship club, Sunderland on loan.
The Red Devils made this known via a statement released on its website on Wednesday, August 31, as the Thursday transfer deadline day approaches
Amad Diallo during his loan spell at Rangers in the second half of last season helped the Glasgow club in reaching the Europa League final and win the Scottish Cup.

The statement read in part, “Manchester United winger Amad is joining Sunderland on loan for the rest of the 2022/23 season, subject to registration.
“The Ivory Coast international helped Rangers reach the Europa League final and win the Scottish Cup during his temporary spell with the Glasgow club for the second half of last season.”
The Ivory Coast striker scored three times during his loan spell at Rangers, including a goal just four minutes into his debut against Ross County.
Diallo was born in the Ivory Coast but moved to Italy as a child. He joined the Atalanta youth system in 2015, where he won two Campionato Primavera 1 titles.
In January 2021, Diallo joined English club Manchester United and was loaned out to Rangers a year later.
He made his senior international debut for Ivory Coast at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
