Razaq Aliyu has called on his Enyimba teammates to maintain their form when they face Heartland FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium today, Sunday, July 10.
The Aba outfit are currently fourth in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table following two consecutive wins.
“We have to build on that and make sure that in Owerri we keep doing the things we are doing.
“It’s a still a long way from now till the end of the season, there is a long run of games to be played, and hopefully we can do well in them.”
Enyimba will take on their Oriental rivals Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.
But while the team is currently doing well in the local league, the reverse is the case in Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League.
In its first match in the money-spinning lucrative Champions League, Enyimba lost to Zamalek FC of Egypt 1-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka International Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It went to Johannesburg and slumped to Sundowns Mamelodi FC 2-1 in its second match.
