In it’s bid to Complement the efforts of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to reconcile all aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Democracy Networks for Aketi (DNA) and some elders have set up reconciliation committee in Akoko North West Local government area of the state
The conveners of Democratic Networks for Aketi (DNA), Rear Admiral Samuel Ilesanmi Alade (Rtd) while addressing members of the committee at Oyin Akoko said they should start work immediately as it became imperative to ensure the party’s victory in the October 10 Governorship elections.
“Let me say here that this committee should resolve all issues so as to focus on how the party will win the October 10, 2020 election” he disclosed
Alade, however, expressed optimism that the party will win the October 10, governorship election in Ondo state stressing that it is important to carry everybody along in order to ensure victory for the party.
“I am also assuring you that no one will be witch-hunt or left out of the scheme of things within the Party,” he said
Alade appealed to all aggrieved party members to always see politics as a game and not a do- or-die affair, saying that victory is from God.
He, therefore, hailed all the contestants who dropped their ambitions for the interest of the general public.
Those who attended the meeting include Prince Dayo Bello, Hon Rahman Rotimi, Chief (Mrs) Olubunmi Osadahun, Elder Ojo, Comrade Sanmi Oluleye, Elder Ayo Akande, Ms Abosede Rotimi- women Leader, Elder Akogun and Representatives from each ward.
