He made the statement while analyzing the 10-0 walloping of São Tomé and Principe in Agadir, Morocco, by the Nigerian team on Monday, June 13 on the sports radio station, Brila FM.
Napoli inform striker, Victor Osimhen, found the net four times in the game, newcomer, Terem Moffi scored a brace, while Ademola Lookman, Emmanuel Dennis, Moses Simon, and Ogehekaro Etebo scored a goal each to earn Nigeria their biggest win in a competitive soccer match.

Reacting to the big win against São Tomé, after an initial 2-1 come win against Sierra Leone in Abuja, Aghahowa said the two good performances have shown what was lacking in the team before Peseiro took over.
According to him, he has noticed some improvements in passes when the team are in the final third, unlike what was obtainable in the past.
He credited the current better forward play by the midfield and attack to the recent appointment of the Portuguese gaffer, Jose Peseiro.
He said, “It is very obvious that something has changed in the attacking lineup.
“The final third which like I have always complained about like passes don’t get to the strikers, players don’t make runs behind the defenders.
“But against São Tomé, I saw a lot of runs from the midfielders and the wingers.“
The Super Eagles will return to action in the qualifiers in 3 months (September) when they take on the second placed team in the group, Guinea-Bissau.
