Nigeria female basketball team, D’Tigeress, put up a dominant performance to win it’s second group game against Angola 85-65 points.

The second quarter followed a similar partern, with the Nigerian girls wining 21-10 points, thereby, finishing first half 52-28 points, and leaving the Angolans with a lot of grounds to cover.

The Angolans showed a lot of urgency in the second half, as they fought back to win the third quarter 19-15 points , effectively ending the third quarter with a commutative of 47- 67 points.

The two teams were equally matched in the fourth and final quarter, as the Angolan ladies made efforts to make up grounds for the early deficit, but the Nigerian team stood firm to end the quarter 18 points each.

D’Tigeress, having won two group games has now qualified for the quarter finals and topped Group B, leaving the two Southern African countries, Mozambique and Angola, to fight for the second spot.
