The Ajana Afa of Okeagbe Akoko in Ondo State, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, his Chiefs in Council and the entire community said they would endorse Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, popularly known as BOT, for another term in the 2023 House of Representatives election.

The mega endorsement is part of activities lined up to celebrate the 30th Coronation anniversary of Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, the Ajana Afa of Okeagbe Akoko.

Dr Olubunmi Tunji Ojo’s performance in the last two years has surpassed any House of Representatives members that have served in that capacity since the First Republic, the community say. “Therefore, Affa Community has no option but to support him for his second term bid at the Green Chambers,” they added.

In an emergency meeting convened by Evangelist Olumuyiwa Asagunla and some notable Affa Okeagbe sons and daughters which took place at Chief Asagunla’s residence yesterday, High Chief Efficacy Adewunmi said BTO has won their hearts with developmental projects spread across the two Local Government areas and beyond his Constituency.

In a statement issued and signed by the chairman, Media and Publicity sub-committee, Julius Alabi, reiterated that Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo B has performed and represented the good people of Affa Okeagbe Community well, therefore deserves a free ticket for the second term without any dissenting voice with a massive victory awaiting him at the 2023 polls.

Over the past few months, several Youth groups in Akoko North Federal Constituency have endorsed the candidacy of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for 2023 because of his open-door policies while finding quality time to identify with them and shouldering their burdens.

The Community noted: “We should now be thinking beyond him being our choice for the House Representatives in our Federal Constituency. What should be our concentration now is on how to secure victory for him in the general election.

“We all know that his leadership qualities are scarce even within Ondo state and we know that his choice at this time is an advantage for the entire state. BTO’s policies are not just about executing projects, they are focused on human developmental goals.
