Adu promises Akure better representation if elected into House

Adu said he will always put the people of Akure Federal Constituency first, especially the ordinary people in the development of the area.

Ahead of 2023 general elections, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last Bye-election in Akure Federal Constituency, Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu, has said that he is not deterred by the economic realities confronting the country but determined to make life more meaningful to his people.

According to Adu, accountability, probity and prudence are key ingredients needed to guarantee provision of basic amenities for his people.

Speaking with newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital, Olumuyiwa Adu stated that his decision to represent Akure Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber was informed by the need to make positive impact on the fortune of his Constituency.

He noted that if giving the chance to represent the people of Akure South and Akure North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, he would help in boosting the socio-economic development of the area.

“I want to give hope to my people because I know that governance is all about being focused, effective and accountable to the electorate.

“If people are gainfully employed and our young men and women are off the streets, fewer people would turn to crime,”Adu said.

He declared that he will continue to put the interest of ordinary people of Akure Federal Constituency first in the development of the area.
