Adesola Omidina, son of the late Nollywood actor, Baba Suwe, has retracted his post accusing TAMPAN and others of abandoning his father

The son of the late Nigerian comic actor, Adesola Omidina, has retracted his post on social media and apologised for accusing TAMPAN and other people of abandoning his father before his death.
The young actor, in an Instagram post, which has now gone viral, displayed his father’s corpse and accused friends and colleagues of the late actor of abandoning him when he was sick.

He has now retracted the video and apologised for his comment to members of Theatre Arts And Motion Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and Nigerians as a whole.
Retracing his steps, the actor said TAMPAN and others have been supportive in their own ways, a statement that is a clear departure from his initial post.
“As the son of the veteran actor late Babatunde Omidina ‘Baba Suwe’ I am genuinely issuing this statement to denounce and condemn the video(s) about Baba Suwe’s death that has been wrongly posted.
“The Nollywood, TAMPAN, the government, Prophets, family and fans have been supportive in their own ways. I tender an apology to all the groups, people and families affected! Again, please disregard any inappropriate ‘video’ circulating social media.” Adesola Omidina wrote,
