Adekunle Gold dodged twerking lady to avoid Simi’s wrath, fans allege

Adekunle Gold recently avoided a female fan who was twerking for him on stage at his concerts at the Apollo theater in New York, United States

Nigerian singer and songwriter Adekunle Gold has stirred mixed reactions from netizens after he stylishly dodged dancing with a lady who came onto the stage to sweat it out with him. 

The sold out concert took place in Apollo theater in New York in the United States and the singer did not disappoint his fans as he treated them to some of his hit songs.   

As expected, the concert was stormed by many of the singer’s fans all over the world, especially Nigerians who are either living in the US or had gone there for vacation.

A video from the concert which surfaced on social media after the show revealed a moment in which the Nigerian singer stylishly dodged a female dancer who was twerking for him on stage. 

At some point during the encounter, the fan turned her backside to Adekunle Gold and bumped into him, but rather than reciprocate the gesture, just like most musicians will do, the father of one took a few steps back. 

His reaction to the twerking lady got many members of the online community who saw the video talking, as they suggested he did so to avoid getting into trouble because his wife, Simi will be watching. 

Meanwhile, the singer was also seen in another clip on social media,  wearing an auburn suit by British-Ghanaian designer Ozwald Boateng during his recently concluded Boston gig. 

As though the drip wasn’t enough, Gold completed the ensemble with eye-catching ornamental rings and chains, pearl necklaces and bracelets, plus a pair of chunky black shoes.

He also wore his distinctive sleek braids and eye-catching sunglasses,  which made his fans brag that his sense of fashion and talent, stands him out among his peers.
