Nigerian singer, Adekunle Kosoko better known as Adekunle Gold or AG Baby got the internet buzzing after he gifted himself a new Range Rover.
The development, which comes barely a few days before his birthday, has been described as answered prayers by his fans and other netizens.
Adekunle Gold eight years ago, while with YBNL records, had expressed his desire to own a Range in his hit song “Pick Up” which was released in December 2015.
A line from the song’s chorus, which he sang in Yoruba language read:
“Baba God o! Emi no fe wa Range Dangote olori meji (Dear God, I want to drive Range Rover, just like Dangote) Na beg i dey beg o.”

After the post showing Adekunle Gold’s automobile surfaced on social media, fans and netizens trooped to his comment section to congratulate him.
An IG user identified as do2dtun wrote: “Baba God don pick up.”
Another internet user, thepamilerin: said: “Borrow me the tyre.”
ovado_added: “As Baba God pick up your call, will surely pick mine too as long i don’t envy my brothers.”
Another netizen, funmilayo_roti wrote: “Congrats to u and d family more progress ahead lnjsn.”
