Popular movie marketer, Alhaji Kazim Adeoti, better known as Adekaz has justified his decision to marry Nollywood Actress Mercy Aigbe.

The 54-year-old defended himself, after the backlashes that greeted his decision to marry the actress despite having a wife and allegations that he knew Mercy was his wife’s friend.

The wife, Funso recently took to Instagram to refute his claims that she knew about his relationship with the actress and gave her blessing.

She wrote, “I want you all to know that in contrast to what Mr. Adeoti said, I did NOT and will NEVER SETTLE to have a second wife in my marriage to him.

“Kazim, you should stop painting a perfect picture of a marriage you clearly do not have with me, Oluwafunso Asiwaju Couture”

She also chastised the actress for denying that they are friends, saying she lied because she was ashamed of her decision to snatch her husband.

“As for you Mercy, let’s cut the crap. We were friends, but the shame and your glam lifestyle will not let you admit it.

“You have been sleeping with Kazim since your son was only 5 months old. I introduced you to Kazim as my friend. I called and personally invited you and your ex-husband to the 40th surprise birthday party I did for my soon-to-be ex-husband.” Funso added.

In response to the criticisms and his wife’s rebuttal, Adekaz asserted that he is better than other men who engage in extra marital affairs in disguise.

He also said he tied the knot with Mercy Aigbe to avoid falling into the temptation of fornicating and keeping multiple sex partners.

He wrote: “I want to use this medium to educate some people. A lot of married men out there are fornicating, keeping multiple sex partners and their wives are aware, and pretending as if they don’t know.

“So, which one is better? to marry and do what is morally right or to fornicate? It is wrong and dangerous spiritually and health-wise. A lot of people are hypocrites. When you are bold enough to do the right thing, they complain. I know I have done the right thing. Let my wife be. Thanks.”

Meanwhile, Mercy Aigbe recently received an emotional welcome at her new husband’s hometown as the duo visited Oro, Esie, in Kwara State.

The actress shared a video where the compere of an event she attended with her husband, Kazim Adeoti was heard saying “Our wife in Oro land. Welcome to Esie.”
