Nollywood actress Sonia Ogiri has contended that the decision of Yul Edochie to marry her colleague, Judy Austin, has emboldened his first wife, May to explore her hitherto hidden potential.
The thespian made the assertion via a post on her Instagram page while advising men to stop taking their wives’ meekness for foolishness using Yul Edochie first wife, May’s new social media exploits as an example.
In Sonia’s open letter to married men, the movie star reiterated that married women only keep calm out of respect for their husbands and kids, adding that women can still achieve their potential after marriage.
According to her, married women can be influenced by peer pressure and they see things on social media and can get tempted too.

Sonia then alluded to Yul Edochie’s second marriage saga, claiming the disappointment brought out the best in his first wife, as she is now a more expressive and fun-loving personality on social media.
The actress went on to praise May who, according to her, has maintained her beauty and shape despite having four kids, and warned men not to bring out the beast in their seemingly calm wives.
Sonia wrote, “Dear Married Men. your wives are just keeping it cool cause they’re married to you and for their kids not like it is over for them.
“They see things, especially on social media, and they might sometimes get tempted by the streets.
“The flashy lifestyle everywhere. They have feelings too, they’ve friends, classmates, cousins, etc flaunting good lifestyles on their faces. Don’t think they don’t know what’s up or can’t do what’s up.
“Eg just take a look at May Edochie now. See all the qualities she’s got hidden in marriage. Look at her after 4 kids? A simple and quiet woman. Oga, too many men out there gonna value what you couldn’t protect.
“Is just like a situation of a dog who has just been let loose from its cage. She’s happy and I pray she finds more happiness. Every woman get am for body, no be mumuness na just respect.”
Despite the social media frenzy Yul Edochie’s marriage to Judy Austin generated, his first wife, May, has succeeded in maintaining a happy front and remained calm.
The mother of four is now more active on social media and recently won a brand ambassador deal. She recently took photoshoots with celebrities such as Ay Makun and Nuella Njubigbo, while also looking glamorous at social events.
