A few weeks after Nollywood veteran Kanayo I Kanayo claimed fake actresses have taken over the movie industry, another Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Halima Abubakar has buttressed his argument.
The actress took her verified Instagram page to assert that fake actors and actresses stand a better chance of making it in the Nigerian movie industry.
She also accused her colleagues of taking peanuts for roles, making it difficult for people to charge what they are truly worth.

“The faker you are, the bigger your circle will be. The realer you are, the smaller your circle will be. These are well known facts.
“This is my own experience, not yours o, all of you ranting. I went through this since inception. I have faced this in Hollywood, some saying oh is a lie, keep collecting that change & roles. I have the right to talk about it,”
Before this rant, Halima Abubakar had in a post in the past disclosed that she bled for six months as a result of what her friends did to her and gave thanks to God for pulling through.
The 36-year-old actress shared her experience on her Instagram page and advised her followers on the kind of friends they should keep.
” I was able to remove sadness from my life, I bled for 6 months. Yes, I did o. That’s why I thank God daily,” she wrote.
“Yes, it happened to me, so be careful. A smiling face is an evil being, dem go wan kill you because of roles and men. Be careful out there, people are evil. I am glad I am in my lane, I pray all and more is done to your own families, as you did too”. Halima added.
