Nigerian movie producer and actor, Chris Bassey, has disclosed that he has left the Nigerian entertainment industry for plumbing work.
He made this known during a recent Instagram Live interview with media personality Daddy Freeze, where he revealed that he now works as a plumber in Canada
During the chat, the show anchor asked the thespian what he has been up to since leaving the shores of Nigeria.
“I know you as a producer and actor, what career are you into this Yankee?” Daddy Freeze asked.

Responding to the question, Bassey replied: “I’m into construction here.”
Daddy Freeze who was surprised by the development, later questioned the actor’s transition despite his fame, wondering if it would not be seen as a step down.
Answering the question, Chris Bassey noted that he makes more than the tech guys and enjoys his life.
The ex-actor went on to reveal that he lives a life of ease and travels at will.
Speaking in pidgin he said: “In the last seven months, the province I have visited just on weekends in Canada, even person wey dey do tech no fit afford am. For here, I don’t know about the UK or US.”
