Abuja has shortlisted 14 Directors in the civil service to have a go at the examination, written and oral, that will be conducted to pick the best to replace Ahmed Idris who is on suspension for his stint with the graft busters over alleged N170 billion fraud.
A circular from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), signed by Administration Director Mariya Rufai, was received on 6 July by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Folasade Yemi-Esan.
Rufai said the circular was in response to the directive from Yemi-Esan requesting a list of eligible Directors, one of whom would become federal Accountant General.
Most Directors of Finance and Administration (DFAs) in Ministries Departments and Agencies (MDAs) are often deployed from the OAGF.
Rufai presented Yemi-Esa “details of the substantive Directors from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation as requested for your further necessary action.”
