A lawyer, Savn Daniel, has knocked Femi Adesina, the special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media, over his comment on the Senate Minority Leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe.
Adesina had said that Abaribe ought to be in prison for standing surety for Nnamdi Kanu who later jumped bail until he was rearrested in Kenya.
Adesina said: “There is one funny Senator who talks about the mismanagement of our diversity as a country, yet he daily uses foul language against those in leadership. He stood surety for someone bent on the dismemberment of the country, and when that one vanished, and he should have been cooling his feet in prison, the Senator still spews rubbish. Chief’ mismanager’ of our diversity. And the President had words for him and his ilk, who exist around the country,” he said.
But Daniel, in a tweet with the handle @savndaniel said: “Two things: 1. Criminal responsibility is not transferable. 2. There is bail bond. You lose the bail bond and not liberty. But this basic knowledge may not be so basic, where the Presidency is manned by individuals that know nothing.”
