A total 67 students from 35 tertiary institutions have signified intention to contest for this year’s Best Marketing Students’ Awards of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN).
Five winners are expected to emerge in the competition.
NIMN Registrar, Sydney Ogodo, said this year’s award continues the tradition established in 2007 to reposition the marketing practice and harness potential from the cradle.
He expressed the institute’s commitment to upholding quality expressed the resolve to ensure the best five marketing talents from Nigeria’s tertiary institutions are celebrated.
NIMN recently inaugurated a polling research unit to monitor the build-up to the governorship election in Bayelsa State, which has recorded in-roads in sourcing background information on the ballot.
NIMN President, Ganiyu Koledoye, said besides providing useful information for consumers and brands custodians, the research would also go a long way in enhancing the bottom line of the institute.
