The Nigeria Air Force Ground Training Centre, Kaduna, passed out a total of 484 in Basic Training Course 33/2014 Recruits.
The Chief of Air staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu, who was the Reviewing Officer, said this during the passing out parade on Friday at the Ground Training Centre, Kaduna.
He said during the training which started with a total of 504 recruits, eight withdrawn voluntarily on medical ground and four absconded because they could not cope up.

Amosu said the level of attrition is understandable because of zero tolerance for conduct that was not consistent with the service discipline.
“You have to understand that Military profession requires absolute loyalty, discipline, honesty and courage, among other values.
“Nigeria Air Force leadership and the chain of command will therefore continue to rely on your patriotism, allegiance, commitment and unalloyed loyalty as you go out to serve the nation,” he said.
He said the present leadership was highly committed to the enthronement of professionalism and purposeful training.
“On our part, we shall strive to radically transform the Nigeria Air Force into a fighting force, ready for the emerging challenges of the 21 Century,’’ he said.
He called on the officers to get prepared on the internal security challenges facing the country to enable them face the task ahead.
He also enjoined them to as members of the Armed Forces, “you must subordinate yourselves to civil authority and protect the nation’s democracy as well as remain non-partisan, not to be allowed by any disgruntled elements in the society to cause mischief”.
The Air Chief commended the Commandant and the entire staff of the Ground Training Centre for a Job well done.
