Nigerians have described former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, a traitor after he shared on Instagram a photograph of himself with President Muhammadu Buhari and the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni.
Barely nine hours after sharing the photograph and hinting that he would be joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), a party he once described as Janjaweed (an ethnic supremacist militia group in Sudan), 3,331 persons have dropped their comments, and they were unanimous in their description of Fani-Kayode.
Fani-Kayode, has, in the past called Buhari unprintable names. He once latched onto IPOB’s propaganda, describing Buhari as a clone after the demise of the original. He is now seeking to join the same president in the APC, even with a short spoon.
He is also using the same short spoon to dine with President Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina, someone whom he once said has ‘lost his soul to Satan.’
But Fani-Kayode, while posting the image of himself with Buhari at the Villa, said: “It was an honour and a privilege to visit President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, yesterday in the company of my dear friends and brothers, Governor Mala Mai-Buni and Governor Bello Matawalle.
“Mr President received us very warmly and we had an excellent meeting. I intimated to him of my decision to join the APC and he was delighted with the news. Now we move forward together to make our country a better place and to bring peace, love and stability to our shores.”
The replies that followed Fani-Kayode’s post were unpalatable.

@Embassy_oficial added: “People like don’t deserve to hold any political post in Nigeria, all you care for is your stomach and personal interest. You don’t have Nigeria in your life. No integrity at all.”
