Coming under the hashtag, #DaddyWhenYouWin, Nigerians are pouring out their hearts to a would-be winner of the 2019 presidential election what they want done.

From electricity, minimum wage, political appointees to corruption, Twitter users are listing what their expectations are when a winner emerges in February.

“Make political appointees people who fit the portfolio of the office they would be working. We are tired of seeing farmers becoming ministers of petroleum and old men becoming minister of youth development,” Elder Seun said on Twitter.

Others want terrorism curtailed to the barest minimum to allow for security and provide atmosphere for investment in Nigeria.

“Please solve our problem of electricity. Nigeria used to be regarded as the power house of Africa. But now, the only power we have is that which belongs to God,” Oscar Romeo pleased.

According to them the winner they want is teh one that will guaranty equal opportunity, irrespective of ethnicity, religion or state of origin.

In 2015, #BabaWhileYouWereAway hashtag was used to call the attention of President Buhari, who won the election, of what transpired in his absence while he was away in London.

With barely two months to the presidential election, it is evident Nigerians, especially the youths, have ceded the winner of the election to an older person.

The two main contenders for the election are the incumbent, President Muhammadu Buhari who will be 76 years this December and Atiku Abubakar, 72.
