.Ezeife, Jibril: We’ll fence Nigeria, change its name, currency
…to change Nigeria to ‘Pisonia’, naira to ‘Pison
Leaders of the newly registered Justice Must Prevail Party (JMPP), yesterday, took oath, barefoot, and vowed to dislodge President Muhammadu Buhari from Aso Rock in 2019. The party leaders also said they will rename Nigeria “Pisonia”, change the nation’s currency, naira, to “Pison”, and construct perimeter fence around Nigeria if it wins next year’s presidential election.
Acting National Chairman of JMPP, Dr. Olusegun Ijagbemi, at a news conference in Abuja, said the oathtaking was a bond and a death sentence for anyone who breaches it. Among party leaders who subscribed to the “Twelve Pillars” of oath were Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former Political Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Dr. Sarah Jibrin, who also served as Special Adviser on Ethic and Values to former President Goodluck Jonathan. Ezeife is Chairman of Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party while Jibrin is styled as “Mother of Nations.”
The leaders pledged not to “shed innocent blood except accidentally. “I shall not engage in any diabolical act; I shall not steal any party or government funds or resources from one naira upwards; I shall not give or receive bribe or engage in any sexual harassment – homosexuality or lesbianism,” the party leaders pledged.
They further pledged not to “collect any gift that will influence my decisions while serving in office as JMPP official; I shall not award any contracts to myself or personal company directly or indirectly; I shall not engage in any form of sabotage against the party and the government; I shall not take JMPP or any member of the party to court before, during and after elections as a result of party electoral matters.”
They also pledged not to attack any Church or Mosque, and not to involve in kidnapping. Ijagbemi threatened that any of them who undermines the oath would be strike dead, while the earth would turn whatever kind of food they take into poison if they undermine the oath. Speaking on JMPP programme for Nigeria the acting National Chairman said the party would construct a perimeter fence around the country’s borders, to make it more secured.
The decision to change the country’s name and currency, Ijagbemi explained, was divinely revealed to the leadership of the party so that there will be progress. “It is a miracle that the leadership of this party got a wind of how the entire African nation is being impoverished with their currency. “There are people outside Nigeria printing our currency and they have agents among us, including our political leaders.
“They are printing money and they have agents in Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and throughout Africa. We brought this information to Nigeria that they are destroying our economy,” he explained According to him, the JMPP would use technology to monitor the country’s borders while security forces would be highly motivated. “This party is going to fence Nigeria and create only regulated routes for people to come in and go out of the country.
“You can no longer move boys or girls across the border with trailer and then say you have captured or recovered them. “There will be no need for people sleeping with their hearts panting. You cannot just come into the country, invade it and steal our oil,” he added. Ijagbemi stated that JMPP government would strengthen the immigration laws, and that border control would be exercised maximally.
He decried the level of unemployment in the country, describing it as unacceptable, “considering the fact that the nation was reputed as one of the richest in the world in human and natural resources.” According to the acting National Chairman, JMPP would equip technical colleges and polytechnics to provide high-level manpower to form the backbone of technological and industrial development.
“The party will also encourage the formation of new industries in line with modern technological trends using the products of the revamped technical schools and polytechnics. “Skills development centres will be established in all local government councils of the country,” he promised. He added that JMPP government would ensure that international agreements negotiated and entered into by the Federal Government were in tandem with the interests of Nigerians.
