14 ships with petroleum products, foods arrive Lagos ports

Fourteen ships laden with petroleum products, foods and other goods had arrived at the Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Thursday in Lagos.
The NPA stated this in its daily publication, the ‘Shipping Position’ which was made available to newsmen.

 
It explained that six of the ships were laden with fuel, while the remaining eight ships arrived with foods items and general cargo.
The statement also said that 29 ships were being expected in the ports between Feb. 18 and March 8.

 
According to the publication, 10 of the expected vessels will sail in with containers, while nine others will arrive with food items like rice in bags, frozen fish, buckwheat and bulk malt.
The document indicated that seven ships would arrive with general cargo, and remaining three with base oil, petrol and diesel.
