The paramount ruler of Idanre land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin yesterday joined his ancestors.
The Owa of Idanre kingdom, a frontline monarch aged 102 passed away after a brief illness
Late Oba Aroloye led his people for 48 years after ascending the throne in 1976.
He will be remembered for his ability to bring about unity, peace, tranquility, and sense of community development among his people while his tenure has also witnessed tremendous physical infrastructure and economic development of Idanre land
He was very known for his passionate love of his people, fairness, impartial judgements, promotion of culture and tradition of his people and above all, his fear of God.
His death was confirmed by Lisa of Idanre, High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire. He said that necessary traditional rites are already being put in place.
